|
Giordano Bruno, the new album by OAK - Oscillazioni Alchemico Kreative, is an unprecedented post-rock opera with prog / folk resonances combined with contemporary psychedelia based on the events of the philosopher's life and his magical arts. Supported by a line-up of special guests such as David Jackson (VDGG), Richard Sinclair (Caravan, Camel), Sonja Kristina (Curved Air), Jenny Sorrenti and Maartin Allcock (Jethro Tull), the compositional path of Jerry Cutillo conquers an important space in the symphonic prog of the new millennium. The artist, who has had great record successes in the '80s and numerous participations in international festivals, launches with this album a new paradigm: the expression of progressive music as a modern musical-theatrical opera. This work aims at the heart of emotions starting from the surprising and current philosophical theories of Giordano Bruno to get to the romantic rock compositions of Jerry Cutillo suspended between dream and reality. |
