One of the main exponents of the Neapolitan neomelodic strand, Mauro Nardi is also one of the most prolific singer-songwriters of his land Naples, perhaps "the happiest island" of the Italian music scene. Born musically together with Nino D'Angelo, who also wrote songs for Nardi, the Neapolitan artist contributed to revolutionize the period of the "jacket songs" whose members were Mario Merola, Mario Trevi, Pino Mauro. Together with artists such as Mauro Caputo, Carmelo Zappulla, Gigi Finizio and D'Angelo himself, Mauro Nardi was the author of the c.d. Neapolitan "neomelodico", while never neglecting the classic Neapolitan repertoire. As he did in this brand new album with which he engages with songs like "Anema e 'core", "Malafemmena" and "Che taggia dì". An album, arranged by Nuccio Tortora, unmissable for all fans of Neapolitan music. |
