The special evening dedicated to the Tenco Prize at the impending 50th anniversary of Luigi Tenco's disappearance at the Ariston Theater in Sanremo has been openly applauded, a long standing ovation and a chorus of consents for the arranger and trombonist (but in this case Also director) Mauro "Otto" Ottolini da Peschiera (Vr) who was an absolute protagonist of the super-concert called "How do I see others ... those born after" and included only artists born after the death of Tenco. Ottolini, in charge of artistic director Enrico De Angelis, re-arranged twenty-two songs from Tenco, and directed the Sanremo Symphonic Orchestra integrated with a rhythm section he chose. The basic idea and the most popular aspect of Ottolini's work was the ability to give a new life to the pieces of the singer songwriter Genoa, enhancing the most striking aspects. |
